The Peter Sarik trio is a fresh project that combines the rhythms of Latin, Mainstream and
modern jazz. It is unusual for a trio of this nature to be so expressive and versatile -- a unique
attribute that sets them apart from other bands.
Peter Sarik is foremost known as a composer and is in possession of a shining résumé. He has
been a finalist in several international song-writing competitions such as The International Song-
Writing Contest (USA) and The United Kingdom Song-Writing Competition. In addition to these
accomplishments, he has won several internationally recognized musical awards. In 2004
György Frey and Peter Sarik where award the title of “The Year’s Best Band” by the
Hungarian National Radio.
The Peter Sarik Trio is a band comprised of outstanding, accomplished musicians who
complement Peter Sarik and his music perfectly. The members also have résumés that stretch
for miles. For instance, Tamas Berdisz has played with the likes of Bob Mintzer, and Kenny
Mahogany.
